Porsche GT3RSR (997)

The following was extracted from the Dailysportscar website
Down at James Watt Automotive the #95 Porsche 997 RSR was simply gleaming in its new 2007 livery, paying homage to the classic Martini colours. 2006 GT2 Champion Joel Camathias has been added to the team’s driving squad for this round and all were happy that they, and the third Felbmayr Proton Porsche, have been admitted to the entry as others have found time running out.
“The colour scheme was Paul Daniels’ idea and it looks great doesn’t it?”

Yes it certainly does. The team’s current plans include all of the remaining Le Mans series calendar with the exception of Valencia (where a 50 car limit applies) and the Spa 24 Hours.
Paul Daniels is enjoying his new car enormously: “When we moved up from the 996 GT3 RS to the RSR there was a step up, particularly with the sequential box but there were lots of similarities between the two. This is a completely different, and much better car altogether, huge attention to detail for endurance racing and it seems obvious that Porsche has been encouraged to up their game with the steps forward being taken by their opposition in GT2.
“As for the livery, my first trip to Le Mans was back in 1977 when the Martini 936 won and with the other retro stuff coming back too (Gulf in particular) it seemed a really iconic image to follow. We’re still not done with it yet, there will be more work on the sills for later races.”
